London, UK – Powerhouse Energy Group announced on Thursday that its European Patent Application for its “Method and Apparatus for the Treatment of Waste Material” has been allowed to progress toward full grant of a patent. Upon payment of the applicable fee, the patent will be granted, providing protection in the UK and Ireland as well as across Europe.
The patent application focuses on the control of waste heating within the Thermal Conversion Chamber across multiple zones, allowing for the production of optimal synthesis gas. This development will not only enable Powerhouse Energy Group to penetrate and disrupt the clean-energy market, but it will also provide protection for their proprietary technology.
PHE is committed to advancing its other patent applications within Europe and worldwide to further enhance their technological advancements.

Shares in Powerhouse Energy Group rose by 1.2% to 0.43 pence at 08:24 GMT.
