Global cryptocurrency asset manager Hashdex has secured approval to list exchange-traded products on Switzerland’s SIX Exchange, according to a statement.
Hashdex said the latest development is in line with its ongoing international expansion and boosts its position as a “global pioneer” in cryptocurrency asset management.
Hashdex has tapped cryptocurrency exchange-traded product and exchange-traded fund leader Laurent Kssis as its managing director and head for European operations.
The firm said it is “actively recruiting” talents across London, Zurich, Paris, and Lisbon to boost its workforce and expand its global operations, with over 90 team members in Rio de Janeiro, New York, and Zurich.
Kssis said the thematic approach will cater mostly to institutional investors familiar with conventional exchange-traded fund structures. He is optimistic that the products will stand out from others that focus on a single cryptocurrency. HASH11 is down 0.87%, while BITH11 is down 0.51%.
