Grayscale Investments is set to list its first-ever ETF in Europe, providing investors exposure to various companies, according to a press release by CoinDesk on Monday.
The Grayscale Future of Finance UCITS ETF (GFOF) will be listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), the Deutsche Börse, and Borsa Italiana and would be made available to investors across Europe.
The ETF will measure the Bloomberg Grayscale Future of Finance Index, which was unveiled in January to track the performance of financial services and tech companies in the digital economy.
Michael Sonnenshein, the CEO, stated that the digital asset manager wanted to venture into the EU crypto fund market, where already more than 70 ETF products with a value of $7B in crypto and related products.
Grayscale is now looking to convert its Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) into a spot bitcoin ETF in the US. US SEC is yet to approve such a product despite having many applications. BTCUSD down -4.32%, ETHUSD down -4.92%
