American asset firm Franklin Templeton is hiring at least two professionals that will take charge of its trading and research on cryptocurrencies, CoinTelegraph reported.
Postings on LinkedIn indicate that Franklin Templeton is looking for a medium-senior level crypto research analyst who will create and maintain valuation models and inform portfolio managers of opportunities.
The analyst will look into growth opportunities from technologies such as staking and will be responsible for the growth and management of new products in the crypto space.
The trader will focus on portfolio rebalancing, working hand in hand with developers to establish tools that will boost the platform’s growth. The trader will also work on reconciliation and settlement.
Franklin Templeton made the postings on September 1. It has continuously worked on increasing involvement in the adoption of the blockchain and crypto space in the past years.
The asset management firm has over $1.4 trillion in assets under management. BEN is up 0.25% premarket, BTC is up 1.85%, ETH up 5.16%, and XRP up 0.14%.
