Two British warships have collided in a harbor in Bahrain, resulting in damage to the vessels. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, according to the Royal Navy.
Unfortunate Incident Captured on Video
A video posted on social media shows the HMS Chiddingfold reversing into the HMS Bangor while it was docked. The cause of the collision is still being investigated, as Rear Admiral Edward Ahlgren explains: “Why this happened is still to be established. We train our people to the highest standards and rigorously enforce machinery safety standards, but unfortunately incidents of this nature can still happen.”
