0

Adobe, a leading software company, has announced the launch of a new free-to-use suite of content creation tools called Adobe Express. The desktop version of Adobe Express now incorporates some of the generative artificial intelligence (AI) features from the Firefly collection of AI software.

Express offers a wide range of tools for video editing, photo enhancement, design creation, and document editing. According to Adobe, this software enables users to effortlessly create stunning social videos, enhance images, edit and decorate PDFs, and produce amazing designs quickly and easily.

In its latest version, Express includes the text-to-image and text-effects tools that were previously exclusive to Firefly. These tools are now also approved for commercial use, as Adobe ensures that its image models are based on licensed content or public domain materials. However, photo editing tools based on AI technology, which were introduced in Firefly and Photoshop, are not yet available in this version of Express. Nevertheless, Adobe has revealed that new photo tools specifically for Express are currently in development.

Additionally, the new version of Express boasts multilingual support with prompts available in over 100 languages. The updated software features an all-in-one editor, allowing users to create videos, images, PDFs, and animations using a single tool. Furthermore, Express now supports real-time coediting with another person.

Govind Balakrishnan, Adobe’s Senior VP, revealed that the company has planned to release mobile versions of Express for iOS and Android phones in the near future.

With its innovative features and easy-to-use interface, Adobe Express serves as a powerful content creation solution for professionals and enthusiasts alike.
