Trading strategies and currency pairs
As per the vendor, this system uses the scalping approach along with an optional grid strategy. The grid enables the EA to make more profits and it can be less broker-dependent.
Three different ways are present for using the Grid approach. It can be used in the normal mode, aggressive mode, and as a grid with Martingale risk. While the vendor provides configuration parameters and other settings, there is no explanation of the approach. The lack of proper strategy explanation makes us suspect the reliability of the system.
The recommendations include the use of the M15 timeframe and backtests with the ‘Every Tick’ model. GBPUSD, EURUSD, USDCHF, EURAUD, EURCAD, GBPCAD, USDCAD, EURCHF, and USDJPY are the currency pairs this FX robot supports. We could not find info on the leverage used and the minimum deposit needed.
A few backtests are present for this FX robot. Here is a strategy tester report for the EURCHF pair using the M15 timeframe and tested from 1999 up to 2019.
A total net profit of 59286.91 was present for an initial deposit of $200. For a total of 11791 trades, the profitability of 96.25% and a profit factor value of 14.09% were present. The maximum drawdown was 0.27%. The low drawdown and high profitability look good in backtests. But most often, the backtesting results are not replicated in the real trading performance. Furthermore, the modeling quality was just 90%, which is not sufficient to reveal info on the slippage, commission, etc.
